The Punk Ducali formed in Atri(TE) in 2009, but it wasn't until November 2019 that their first album, this “Bullets in the Head,” was released, in CD and streaming format.
It's a good punk album, tough just right, with ska incursions (Lesionato), pieces reminiscent of the Iron Maiden Bayley-era (Sorrido anche senza te), powerful riffs (Ironia di un gatto), potent despair (Proiettili nella testa), and fast, rough tracks (Ho sbagliato).
The only flaw in the playlist is that the singing seems almost “over the top,” detached from the musical background: a production defect that gives a sense of alienation and perhaps prevents fully enjoying the album.
Considering it's only their first album, however, we can say these are minor sins, and the group, ultimately, has excellent growth potential for the future.
