American hardcore punk band formed in Portland, Oregon in 1980, famed for ferocious sound and corrosive wit. Landmark releases include Kings of Punk (1986), War All the Time (1987), and Feel the Darkness (1990). Guitarist Tom “Pig Champion” Roberts died in 2006. The band announced their breakup in January 2017.
