This album demonstrates why Pink Floyd are unique in the world and why only they manage to deliver this type of music and atmosphere.
This album goes through all the sounds of their discography (you can notice small fragments that remind you of Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Welcome to the Machine, Hey You, and many others) and it gives a music lesson to anyone who even minimally tries to emulate them.
They are unique, and this album proves it.
It especially gives a lesson to Waters, who always considered himself the leader and the only one capable of giving the group's atmosphere, while in this album it becomes clear that Pink Floyd are the result and the amalgam of all the members (that's clear just by listening to "The Final Cut," which was written by Waters alone and is the worst album of their discography).
It's also nice that in this record Gilmour's guitar does not overshadow Wright's keyboards, given that Endless River was created to pay him tribute.
