Cuppone is a Veronese guitarist, let's say an integralist. His album in fact only uses baritone and classical guitar, with just two exceptions. One is in the track “Secret of Yerevan”, which with the presence of Ehab Samir, a cellist from Cairo, immediately takes on Middle Eastern sounds. The other is in the beautiful Drawning In Tears, where he allows himself the use of a Gibson electric guitar. For the rest, we are transported to atmospheres of another time. Arpeggios that evoke intimate and emotional concerts with a few guests in one of the many Venetian villas.
