 The selection of songs was made by Monte Conner, a big name at Roadrunner. And it shows, as in the tracklist there is only one song from that masterpiece known as 'Spheres', which is Mind reflections.

 This best of gets a 3, which is mainly due to the excellent live part; the score does not go higher because of Monte Conner's poor choice of songs.

Pestilence

Pestilence is a Dutch death metal band formed in 1986, known for evolving from thrash/death roots to progressive, jazz-fusion–tinged extremes on Spheres. Led by guitarist/vocalist Patrick Mameli, their classic run and later reunions made them a cornerstone name alongside Atheist and Cynic.
