It's their best album. The UK duo made up of Nicholas Wood and Kat Day finally reaches a mature dimension with this record. The sounds of their songs are less jagged than in the past. The electronic atmospheres and references to a certain dark wave remain, but the composition is overall less rigid, making the album and the band's sound more accessible to a wider audience. An upgrade that I believe is fundamentally due to experience, but who knows, perhaps a desire to try to be more easy-listening has also played a part, especially after their experiences at major and hyped festivals like Primavera. Mastered by Sonic Boom for its 'spatial' quality. #levitation more
