They were born from the Irish rib of "Them" with Kenny McDowell as lead singer and Jim Armstrong on guitar, joined by Curtis Bachman on bass, Reno Smith and Buddy Clark on drums, and Ray Elliott on keyboards and flute.
The band, which is quite reminiscent of the "Grateful Dead", did not release any albums during its existence. However, in the '90s, a compilation of their recordings from '69 and '70 came out, recorded in a Chicago studio, but it is unlikely you heard anything before this little disc—a sound more psychedelic rock than prog.
