"Headstrong – Basquiat on Paper" is now open at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Denmark.
Presenting 45 works on paper from 1981/1983 focused on Jean-Michel Basquiat’s radical exploration of the human head.
Created during a pivotal period of his career, these oil stick drawings reveal fractured, expressive faces that probe identity, inner life, and presence through a raw and experimental language.
