"Sa 'ramadura' is a ritual that takes place within the festival of Sant'Efisio and consists of an act of homage to the saint. Also known as the 'infiorata,' sa ramadura is performed during the final stage of the procession by scattering rose petals (red, pink, and yellow) on the paving stones of Via Roma, so that, as it passes, the carriage carrying the statue of the martyr can advance on a floral carpet, while the ship sirens sound as a sign of farewell." (cit. Dongu Pasqualina) Ramadura
