Cellar, dark corner, cardboard submerged under other cardboard, closed since 1990, more or less. Inside, many 45 RPMs, seven inches, well-packed, released between 1960 and 1990, more or less, some in excellent condition, others decidedly worn, to put it mildly. Some without covers, some in juke-box editions, others from limited editions.
I still remember, almost all of them, their origins: some were "family" records, others bought, and still others "lent" by relatives and friends, sometimes unaware they had, in fact, lent them.
