Cellar, dark corner, a box submerged under other boxes, closed since 1990, more or less. Inside, many 45s, seven inches, well packed, released between 1960 and 1990, more or less, some in excellent condition, others decidedly worn, to use a euphemism. Some without covers, some in jukebox editions, others from limited editions.
I still remember, of almost all, the origin: some "from family," others bought, others yet "borrowed" from relatives and friends, sometimes unaware that they had, indeed, lent them.
