Cellar, dark corner, a box buried under other boxes, closed since 1990, more or less. Inside, many 45 RPM records, seven inches, well packed, released between 1960 and 1990, more or less, some excellently preserved, others decidedly worn out, to put it mildly. Some without covers, some in juke-box editions, some from limited editions.
I still remember, almost all of them, where they came from: some "family ones," others purchased, others still "loaned" by relatives and friends, sometimes unaware that they indeed loaned them.
