New album from the band of the Faroe Islands that I recently discovered in the most hidden corners of Doom Metal! They move with spasmodic slowness, and I can almost hear distant echoes of the very early My Dying Bride, with a significantly better production. The vocals have impressed me even more than the instrumentation: solemn, clear, and declamatory, yet ready to delve into the darkest recesses of a primordial and vicious growl.
