Their collection, with the 45s and demos, released posthumously, very posthumously has, at least, slightly compensated for the negative karma they experienced back then. On par with Seeds, 13th, Love, Doors with their first singles released in Los Angeles during that sensational mid-DECADE, they were unable, for various reasons, to continue as would have been logical. One of many: they turned down “Born To Be Wild” by Mars Bonfire due to doubts over the lyrics… you know, the one by John Kay and Steppenwolf…
