Jesus was a sailor
and walked on water
he stayed for a long time observing
only from his wooden tower
and when he was certain
that only the outcasts would see him
he said to the men: – Be sailors
until the sea sets you free –
but he himself was struck down
even before the sky opened
abandoned, in his human nature
he sank like a stone into your wisdom
I'm boring you with poetry, but right now this is how I feel –
I'm overwhelmed by the lights and gifts and the red and green colors and the obligation to see relatives you care just enough about and give gifts just for the sake of it.
the people I wish to see no longer sit at my table
and walked on water
he stayed for a long time observing
only from his wooden tower
and when he was certain
that only the outcasts would see him
he said to the men: – Be sailors
until the sea sets you free –
