It seems that for us ultraboomers not everything is lost, if it is true that there are still those who put their all into it from their seventies to their nineties, as testified by Marilyn Minter, born in the States, specifically in Louisiana in '48.
She is a painter, sculptor, and photographer who resides and works in New York.
In recent years, her works have been exhibited at the "Museum of Modern Art" in San Francisco and in 2007 her first monographic retrospective was shown in Sweden, Spain, France, and Great Britain.
In 2009, she created the video "Green Pink Caviar," and this video was chosen by Madonna to be used as a backdrop for some of her songs during the second part of her European tour "Sticky & Sweet Tour."
Her works often feature raw themes of sexuality and pornography mixed with a pinch of transgression and irony, as seen in the photographs taken of Tom Ford to promote his perfume.
In April 2015, Marilyn Minter opened her first major retrospective at the "Museum of Contemporary Art" in Houston.
She currently teaches in the MFA department at the "School of Visual Arts" in New York City.
