Because, with these pieces written a bit left-handed and left out or at best placed on the back of singles, 12'' and various EPs, ANYONE (and I mean ANYONE: think of your favorite pop-rock author and they surely fit in here) could have built a career much brighter than bright. This is pop...even if intentionally left in the corner.
