Today marks 30 years since the passing of the greatest genius of Italian music... but what am I saying, a WORLD genius. Today, I want to remember him with perhaps (in my opinion) his best song, sadly forgotten (like any valuable person in this country, of course). Forgotten because it isn't fully understood, like every self-respecting genius.
Those fascists in government haven't uttered a single word about this heartbreaking anniversary. People like Gaetano upheld the values of Italian identity beyond our borders. May God grant him eternal glory, rest in peace!
We could discuss more about how and who killed him, but it's better not to stir up controversies; after all, we know, Italy is a country of tarallucci and wine.
Goodbye, Rino!
