Quietly, he passed away from esophageal cancer on May 19, one of my favorite writers, Martin Louis Amis. Some time ago, I wrote something about his essay titled "Koba the Dread: Laughter and the Twenty Million." But nothing remains, actually no, his books are still here, including his latest novel, "Inside Story" from 2020, which I will try to download on my Kindle as soon as I can...
