A young woman from Rome, about 20 years ago, goes to a John Renbourn concert and after it ends, she approaches him to play one of her songs. He is very impressed and gives her a piece of advice: to take a little trip to Greenwich Village in New York first, and then to London, and to seek him out once she arrives there. It turns out that Emma never returns to Rome; this is her third album, produced and played by Jason Victor of the Dream Syndicate and Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth. Excellent.
