Born in the province of Brescia in the mid-1950s, he gained more notoriety as a basketball player than as a singer-songwriter. He drew attention with some tracks like "York nome di cane" or "Cattive notizie (Bad News)," dedicated to Marvin Jerome "Bad News" Barnes, his teammate in 1980 at Hurlingham Trieste.
