Starfish Pool - Rituals for the Dying (1999) I found this unknown artist while searching through a list of the best electronic/ambient/drone works. I'm listening to it now, and I can say that the album is from 1999, but it has sounds and piece construction that don't let the weight of time be felt too heavily. Very hypnotic, almost trance-like, with elements that add up and perfectly integrate into the architecture of the piece. The ambient/drone moments are delicate disturbances on the canvas of silence. From what I've heard, it's a good work.
