During the Roman imperial period, Domitian established that the Saturnalia celebrations were to be held between December 17 and 23. During these festivities, the social order was inverted; a "princeps" was drawn by lot to whom all power was assigned, usually dressed in red, then came Coca-Cola and thought it wise to have him walk among the hallucinogenic mushrooms (even though here the legends intertwine with those of Northern Europe).
