It seems that David Crosby was the one who took Hey Joe for a stroll down the Sunset Strip, after learning it directly from Dino Valenti, who claims it as his own despite the controversy with the alleged author Billy Roberts, who registered the rights on January 12, 1962, never having been clarified.”
