Master Song, author songs
Every song has a meaning for someone. People court each other, people find wives, people have children, people wash dishes, people get through the end of the day with songs that may seem insignificant to us. But their importance is reaffirmed by others. There’s always someone ready to reaffirm the importance of a song, holding a woman in their arms or getting through the night. It is this that gives it dignity. It’s not the songs that give dignity to human activity but human activity that confers dignity to the songs.
