Simon & Garfunkel - Last Night I Had The Strangest Dream

Last night I had the strangest dream I've ever dreamed.
I dreamed that the world agreed
to put an end to war.
I dreamed of seeing a mighty room
full of men, and the papers they were signing
stated that they would no longer fight.
And when all the papers were signed
and a million copies made,
they shook hands and bowed their heads
and prayers of gratitude were recited.
The people in the streets below
were dancing everywhere, and guns and swords and uniforms
were scattered on the ground.
Last night I had the strangest dream I've ever dreamed.
I dreamed that the world was in agreement,
to put an end to war.
