There is a magnificent acoustic version of "English as a Second Language" from 1983 (https://www.discogs.com/it/release/2548258-Various-English-As-A-Second-Language-Talking-Package). I believe that only the fortunate owners of the record (I... have it) can enjoy the listening experience. However, this version comes pretty close.
