With 19 routes this morning in the hills near home, I reached the final figure of TWO THOUSAND (2000!!!) kilometers completed throughout 2021!! Surpassing a total positive elevation gain of over 104,000 meters. I don’t recall a year quite as intense and full of satisfaction; almost always, with rare exceptions, in complete solitude, just as I enjoy it...
