Eeeh how wonderful the Moon just a few hours away from the New phase, captured at dawn on September 6, near Villacidro.
Practically, it's a configuration impossible to observe with the naked eye, as the visible surface of our satellite was about 1%.
A few hours later, the Moon was eclipsed by the Sun's light, only to reappear in our view again in the evening sky just two days later. Photo by Elena Pinna #chiaroscuro
