My ABSOLUTE favorite genre group of the new millennium
I won’t dwell on this album. While enjoyable, it lacks the band's basic essence. The garage-beatfreak sixties vibe disappears, leaving behind a very ambient, ethereal, intangible melody, a clean, elegant, precise sound… without the necessary edge, that’s the thing. It was one of the two I didn't know, along with the next and last one… which will return closer to classicBW, thank goodness.
