White Mischief
I dwell in Possibility—
A more beautiful home than Prose—
With more windows—
Higher—the doors—
Rooms like cedars—
Impenetrable to the eye—
And for eternal roof has
The chimneys of heaven—
And for the visitors —the most graceful—
No other occupation —this—
Than to stretch my narrow hands wide
To gather Paradise—
Emily Dickinson (1830 - 1886)
