… (continues) besides this, what makes this band of four friends and metalworkers unique is the evolution of their sound, their albums. As far as I'm concerned, I always prefer a band's early albums where youth, ideas, and adrenaline are at their peak... it's rare that, I don’t know, the tenth album of a group excites me; in fact, I often don’t even get to listen to it. Clutch has their own story; they have never given up and have always continued to improve. Just one subpar album, but certainly not bad, and the best in the new century from the fifth album onward, and this twelfth is among the best of all time... isn’t that something?!
