Altemarche 2021 - Dudù Kouatè e Silvia Bolognesi the final preparations for the live show are coming to a close. On stage, there are Silvia Bolognesi on double bass, Dudu Kouate on percussion, Aruan Ortiz on piano, and James Brandon Lewis on sax. As the rehearsals are wrapping up, the rhythmic toll of a bell from the nearby church marks the change of the hour. In a second, a jam session kicks off to the rhythm of the bells, joined by two backliners (me at the drum mechanics and my colleague on congas). This will last a few minutes, with the participants laughing like kids and having fun finding strange sounds from everything they can touch on stage.
