For the nighttime column: "Not just Red Desert, or it's not like only Antonioni noticed that, more or less, Ravenna can be a good location for films," I share with you a scene from the 1970 movie "La ragazza di latta" by Marcello Aliprandi, featuring Sidney Rome and Marcello Antonelli.
The film, satirical and dreamlike, was shot entirely in Ravenna and Marina di Ravenna. It opens with the first scene, still accompanied by the opening credits, in which an unknown blonde girl kisses the famous statue of Guidarello Guidarelli, the protagonist of legends and therefore the recipient of kisses from thousands of women—just search online to believe it.
The complete film can be found on YouTube (I won’t judge; I still need to figure out if I truly liked it or not).
Here on Deb, I’m posting a clip from the film and a photo taken by me at the end of 2020 of the tomb monument of the medieval knight. Kisses :-*
