It's official. Graziano Uliani, patron of the Porretta Soul Festival, has announced this year the complete cancellation of the event.
The press release states: "The 2021 edition of the Porretta Soul Festival, scheduled from July 22 to 25, has been canceled due to the Covid-19 emergency. Considering the uncertainties of the current directives for the summer, the difficulty of bringing musicians from the United States, and the audience, half of which comes from abroad, the event has been canceled."
