Steps Ahead - Trains
Bruford, Holdsworth, and the early Weather Report with Vitous along with the Jaco phase of Black Market/Heavy Weather are my favorites in fusion. But I also have a soft spot for geniuses like them, Uzeb, Yellowjackets... the harmonies, the flow, and the groove of fusion instantly inspire me.
