In this delightful little column, Uncle Dislo has guided you by the hand, but from a distance (only very long-armed DeBaser fans, please...) through the well-trodden discography of the Four in search of the influences of "black" music that often tinted it and the covers of songs by U.S. black artists, discovering, for example, their fondness for the repertoire of female black vocal groups.
Sometimes we included original tracks but performed with decidedly black techniques, especially vocal, but also instrumental.
