Picking up on the brilliant idea of @[Alemarcon] to revisit the brilliant idea of @[Martello], I take the liberty to make, as an additional kick in the... ehm, preview of the columns that will start in a week, a ranking of the worst albums by Pino Daniele (from 1995 to 2009, excluding "Medina" from 2001) from the least unbearable to the pinnacle of absolute diarrhea.
N°1: "Passi d'autore" (2004)
There it is, the cherry on top of the shit cake. The most foul-smelling pile of crap ever. After a nearly dignified "Medina," we had once again hoped for a possible artistic rebirth, but then this new abomination brought everything back to square one. An album with a grandiloquent title, even the name changes to "Pino Daniele Project," but in the end, it turned out to be a pseudo-engaged, pseudo-jazz, utterly tedious collection, with 14 songs ALL THE SAME. Even more pathetic than Gelatone, where at least the basic idea was a pop without too many pretensions.
The masterpiece of the album: Dammi Una Seconda Vita
