Taking up the brilliant idea of @[Alemarcon] to revisit@[Martello]'s genius concept, I dare to make, as a further kick in the balls... erm, a preview of the columns that will start in a week, a ranking of the worst albums by Antonello Venditti (from 1991 to 2015, excluding "Dalla pelle al cuore" from 2007) from the least unbearable to the pinnacle of absolute diarrhea.
N°2: "Prendilo tu questo frutto amaro" (1995) Ah, 1995. Ah, the year of "Io per lei," "Le ragazze fanno grandi sogni"... a rosy time for Italian singer-songwriter music! This marks Venditti's second consecutive abomination, but it turns out to be thirty times worse than the previous one! The title doesn’t bode well, but the album is even worse. Shitty rhymes that wouldn’t even make the earliest Baglioni proud, melodies that seem arranged in Bontempi style, lyrics bordering on indecency, and I’ll add an awful cover as well. Back then, I thought to myself, “This is beyond any existing physical conception! It’s IMPOSSIBLE for it to get worse!” Poor deluded soul...
