Taking inspiration from the brilliant idea of @[Alemarcon] to revisit the brilliant idea of @[Martello], I allow myself, as an additional kick in the... ehm, preview of the columns that will start in a week, to present a ranking of the worst albums by Antonello Venditti (from 1991 to 2015 and excluding "Dalla pelle al cuore" from 2007) from the least unbearable to the peak of absolute diarrhea.
No. 4: "Che fantastica storia è la vita" (2003)
We are getting closer to the podium, and the fight for the title of worst is becoming increasingly difficult. Here we are, after a four-year hiatus, in the new millennium, Nello serves us a new work. A work that aims to revive Venditti's career, which had already hit rock bottom (in fact, it had started to dig). Does he succeed? Of course not! The only thing worthy of some mention is Gato Barbieri's saxophone in the title track. Yes, that title track we all know, that “Mi chiamo Antonio e faccio il cantautore,” that highly praised piece which is actually just a load of nonsense.
The shitshow of the album: Non C'è Male
