HOW TO RUIN A CAREER, ITALIAN SECTION, vol. 7: Eugenio Finardi
(Momentary return to our usual review of Italian talents short on ideas and funds, groups or soloists)
Friends, welcome to the thirteenth block of a delightful little column that, I warn you, should be taken in minimal doses and on an empty stomach. Inspired by excellent DeBaserian souls with a hobby of occasionally sticking two fingers down their throats, here I am to propose a few carefully selected listens regarding the disgusting side of the production of some anglo-saxon groups or solo artists who have really made their mark in the History of Music, once offering quality music with potential international appeal, only to then fall into the shallow waters of a very low-tier discography that renders them, for the most part, unrecognizable to the ears of former fans.
Let the foul trumpets sound, come on...
This man has carefully cultivated the fusion of blues-based rock and singer-songwriter style, with lyrics that perhaps haven't held up well to the various changes in society and culture, not to mention certain moves in the political arena that......... okay, Dislo, don’t bother us and let’s hear Finardi in the spotlight...
