HOW TO RUIN A CAREER, ITALIAN SECTION, vol. 7: Eugenio Finardi
(Temporary return to the usual review of Italian talents short on ideas and cash, groups or solo artists)
Friends, welcome to the thirteenth installment of a delightful little column that, I warn you, should be taken in minimal doses and on an empty stomach. Inspired by excellent DeBaser fans with the hobby of occasionally sticking two fingers down their throats, here I am to propose a few select listens regarding the disgusting side of the output from some anglo-saxon groups or solo artists who have truly made their mark in Music History, once offering quality music with potential international appeal, only to fall into the quagmire of a low-quality discography that renders them, for the most part, unrecognizable to the ears of their former fans.
Let the foul trumpets sound, come on..
This man has carefully cultivated the fusion of blues-inspired rock and singer-songwriter music, with lyrics that perhaps didn’t hold up well to the various changes in society and customs, not dismissing certain moves in the political realm that... alright, Dislo, don’t be a pain and let’s hear Finardi on a shoestring budget.
