HOW TO RUIN A CAREER, ITALIAN SECTION, vol. 7: Eugenio Finardi
(A momentary return to the usual review of Italic geniuses short on ideas and money, groups or solo artists)
Friends, welcome to the thirteenth installment of a delightful little column that, I warn you, should be taken in minimal doses and on an empty stomach. Inspired by some excellent DeBaser fans with the hobby of occasionally making themselves gag, here I am proposing a few select listens concerning the disgusting side of the production of certain anglo-speaking groups or solo artists who have truly made History in Music, once offering quality music potentially with an international flair, only to end up in the shallows of a very low-grade discography that renders them, for the most part, unrecognizable to the ears of their former fans.
Let the foul trumpets sound, come on...
This man has carefully cultivated the fusion between blues-based rock and singer-songwriter music, with lyrics that may not have fared well against the various changes in society and customs, not to mention some political movements that......... alright, Dislo, don’t bother us and let’s hear Finardi at the end of his rope.
