HOW TO RUIN A CAREER, ANGLOPHONE SECTION, vol. 2: Emerson, Lake & Palmer

(Derogation to the usual review of Italian talents, groups, or solo artists. This time we are venturing into the Anglophone realm, indeed, shall we say it or not that not only in the Boot are musical careers being achieved in an unworthy and undignified manner that once paved the way for everyone?)

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the eighth installment of a delightful little column that, I warn you, should be taken in minimal doses and on an empty stomach. Inspired by excellent DeBaser aficionados with the hobby of occasionally sticking their fingers down their throats, here I propose a few select listens regarding the distasteful side of the production of some Anglophone groups or solo artists who have genuinely made History in Music, once offering quality music with potentially international appeal, only to later fall into the mire of a low-tier discography that has rendered them, for the most part, unrecognizable to the ears of their former fans.
Let’s give voice to the fetid trumpets, onward...
