Months ago, there was Morgan on D'Urso's show, rambling on about Stockhausen and Scott Walker in front of an audience eager for him to get out of the way to make room for Loredana Fiorentino (mother of Luigi Mario Favoloso), who was accusing Nina Moric of having bitten the dog Bagheera (the dog was supposedly present in the studio, to our utter astonishment). I feel a pang of sympathy for Morgan: his creativity – no matter what one might say – is exhausted. And then there's this twisted impulse to appear in prime time in the capital of cringe with the intention of evangelizing the mindless masses, off-key singing pieces by Endrigo and boasting about the "Where's Bugo" memes.
And I want to make it clear that among those hoping he would get lost as soon as possible to make space for the dog Bagheera, I was also there.
