Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels - Sock it to Me, Baby !
I love this band. From Detroit, they were the first proto-punk-rhythmandblues-garage like few others. Mitch Ryder was a true cult figure and as a kid, he played in some black bands... that's why we find him mixed with soul and rock'n'roll. On guitar is that James McCarty who would later be a key figure in Cactus.
