The appearance on the hugely popular show The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour was an event for a rock band, and the countless viewers, after a bluesy Wild Child, were taken by surprise by this Touch Me, featuring an orchestra in tuxedos, the fabulous look, and the solo by saxophonist Curtis Amy... and Krieger with a very noticeable black eye.
