Question:
Do you actually "listen" to the songs or do you go on trust because you already know them, so it's "nice" but do you listen to them?? It's an innocent question because maybe someone has something to say, something that the music communicated to them, while I often think "I know it, I know it's great so I just give it a like" without actually listening to it. I prefer to put it on as background, then I might completely change my mind and listen— I do that a lot, I allow myself a sort of school of listening, often tuning into what I don’t know (it also depends on who’s playing it, of course, it's easy to change your mind quickly, maybe you thought someone only played certain types of things and then they surprise you). It's fantastic to know what that song or album stirred within him/her, and I compare that to what happens to me, feeling close to him/her in an ethereal yet real way... those are beautiful discoveries. It happens to me and it's amazing. No clipping (especially captions and, of course, lyrics and musical composition) are great experiences; of course, you need to be in the moment, but I basically live there!!! Sorry for the mistakes, I'm a bit out of it.
