Last night, a dear friend of mine, just a little over thirty, called me to share that he has become a dad to a beautiful little girl. While we were talking, this guy told me that as a teenager, while he was soaking up all the nonsense I used to say, he asked me one day, "Conte, what’s this rock’n’roll life you talk about?!" ... he says that I replied, "My boy, it’s hard to put it into words; let's just say you find yourself with a couple of friends and many girlfriends, and you organize a little party with them, beer and some fancy wine, and you bring along a few records of Little Richard and James Brown... ah, while you're setting everything up, you blast Louie Louie and My Generation."
Despite that, he grew up well, graduated, and not ignorant like me, enjoying this crap as much as it can offer... or maybe precisely because of that...
