I remember it as if it were today. The summer steals the cool even from its nights, and those of '82 were particularly sultry,
but that won't be the reason they'll be remembered. Before falling into the arms of Morpheus, I listened, spellbound, to the notes that
drifted in the distance from the Blue Moon. You had to be 18 to get in, and sooner or later I would.
My friends were already dreaming of breathtaking hugs and kisses. Not me, not yet. I just wanted to get inside and dance.
Dance, and nothing else. Time changes things, and today I enter as a DJ but not into the Blue Moon.
It closed its doors before I turned 18, forever relegated to a special corner of my memory,
yet the echo of those nights, in the sweet insouciance that assails before sleep, still feels alive and burning like back then.
